3 months old!
YAY! Cooper is 3 months old today!
Harry Elefonte is looking a little smaller next to our growing guy each month.
Cooper is also eating 5 ounces at a time now, and regularly sleeping through the night!

Domo arigato, Mr. Cooper
Kampai!
Mom has been craving sushi, and Cooper, being the tiny gentleman that he is, decided to squire her down to the corner Japanese food joint while dad was in Chicago bringing home the bacon!

Though at this point, he still prefers Enfamil to Unagi:
His table manners were impeccable - mommy is very lucky to have such a fabulous date!

Trying out the Bumbo!
Neck control is becoming more of the rule than the exception, and Coop does love to sit straight up, so we had our first little session (maybe 5 or 7 minutes total) in the Bumbo today.
A bit slumpy, but not too shabby:

BTW - our current favorite song is "I don't want to live on the moon" by our pal Ernie (So sweet.)
It is from when mom was a little girl, but it is on our Sesame Street CD:

Father's Day!
We had lots of fun celebrating Todd's first Father's Day today!
When you want to say "I love you," say it with your towel:

Art projects are nice too - mommy and Cooper made this one:
(Cooper does NOT like the feel of clay on his hands!)
And Cooper made this painting and card at school with help from his teachers:
But NOTHING beats quality time with dear old dad:

Jammie time!
Daddy calls these my "Oiler Blue" Jammies. I like them a lot - nice and cozy and jiving in my chair after my bath!
We are SUPER excited for Fathers Day this weekend - we will take some good pictures to share!

At daycare
This is my favorite swing at daycare. They have lots of nice places to hang out and play, but I like this one best. I like to sit up where I can see what all my friends are doing!

All tuckered out...
I am wiped out after my first "real" day of school! (and so is mom after her first day back to work!)

Big Weekend!
Cooper went to visit Bel-Air on Friday! Here he is helping Pop dispatch the techs:
And waiting patiently in case Nana needs help covering the phones:
As you can see, he made himself right at home in the snazzy crib that cousin Vaughn has decked out in cool stuff:
And pretty much everywhere else too:
He slept through the night like the prince that he is, and charmed all the neighbors on Saturday at a little girl's first birthday before mom came to get him and Potter to go home.
Sunday Cooper and Dad had some male bonding time on their own and it was all smiles and snoozes (ok, MOSTLY):
What a fabulous weekend in Cooper-land!

Cooper's first day of school!
Cooper got to go to daycare for a trial run today! Here he is all dressed up and ready to go:
And here is what he did as soon as we got there:

Miss Deb, the supervisor of his nursery, just called to give me an update and he has been doing all of his usual baby stuff with perfect ease, AND him and Sophie, one of his little classmates, have been making goo-goo eyes at each other all day. Less than a day there and he is already a ladies man.
I did ok leaving him, Miss Deb gave me a big hug and assured me I can call or stop by anytime I am missing him, and I walked out the door and drove away. I grabbed an S-Bux and climbed into a pedi chair with the new US Weekly for a deluxe pedi.
And then I started crying. Poor nail tech probably thought I was crazy.
Can't wait to see my little buddy in a few hours - but I love, love, LOVE his school so much, and I know he will too.
And here is what he did as soon as we got there:
Yep, made himself right at home in a bouncy seat with getting some bouncing from Miss Cecilia and fell fast asleep.
And speaking of sleep - in preparation for his big day today, he slept from 11:40 last night until 6:30 this morning!!! WOO HOO!!!Miss Deb, the supervisor of his nursery, just called to give me an update and he has been doing all of his usual baby stuff with perfect ease, AND him and Sophie, one of his little classmates, have been making goo-goo eyes at each other all day.
