Exersaucer fun!

4 months old!

Hooray, Cooper is 4 months old today! No pillow needed to sit up with Harry this month.

Although we haven't caught it on camera, he is turning into quite the little giggle box!  He eats 6 oz at a time and is sleeping through the night (for the most part, knock on wood,) in his crib.  We are working on falling asleep with our arms out of the swaddle, and he is doing pretty well with it.
Big things  are coming Coop's way - the exersaucer arrives on Friday, and the Friday after that is his 4 month check up with the doctor, and maybe the green light for starting some cereal!  (We have been practicing sitting in our big boy high chair to get ready.)
It's been another fabulous month in the life of Cooper!

The sort of giggle...

At this point the kid is just toying with me. He sees the camera coming and refuses to give up a good giggle for posterity.

Wet n' Wild

A testament to my lack of video skill - but here are a few tiny snippets of Cooper's first dip in  the pool!
(After I shut the camera off he hung out in the pool in my arms for quite a while and seemed to really like the water.)

Mobile Love, and the Giggle report

Cooper loves his mobiles - this one from Nana and Pop lights up and makes cool noises and does all kinds of fabulous things!

He also has a little one on his crib at school, and he loves to watch it and talk and talk.

Also, WE HAVE A GIGGLER!!!  Yesterday evening after dinner while playing with his Teddy Bear rattle, we got actual baby laughs!  He was building up to it and I said "I think he is going to giggle!" and then he did and of course Todd and I were so excited!  We did it again and again, and  he was kind of all giggled out by the time we decided to grab the video camera and tape him (of course.)
So we will capture some Cooper laughs soon - promise, because it is pretty much the best sound ever.   :)

Also put a few new pics in the album - Junior is getting better at sitting in his Bumbo every day!  (and Mom and Dad were both snapping pictures like the paparazzi covering Wills and Kate in LA - so he had that to deal with too!)

4th of July Fun!

Nana and Pop came to celebrate the 4th of July with us - we grilled burgers and had some quality time!
Cooper broke out his stars and stripes onesie for the occasion, and the socks that Grandma G sent too:

And it wouldn't be the 4th of July without Potter having an ice cream treat!

 A fabulous day indeed!

Weekend fun!

Friday afternoon was the Teddy Bear Picnic at Cooper's school - we broke out the floppy baby sun hat for the occasion and hung out with the other babies and parents from his classroom!

All of that fun and socializing resulted in this:

After a good nap and some dinner, we walked down to a First Friday art show in the 'hood:

And on Saturday we went to the Farmers Market and Art Festival in Cherry Creek:
